Mensi Angelic Upstarts RIP Sunderland Home LC QF tribute & match thread. Tues 21 Dec 7.45PM

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Agree nice to read posts from safcftm again. Takes me back to the glory days of the early to mid 2010s

Still can't believe you're in the 3rd tier.

Just seen the provisional arsenal squad for tomorrow : Ramsdale, Tierney, White, Gabriel, Tomiyasu, Partey, Saka, Odegaard, Xhaka, Lacazette, Martinelli, Leno, Holding, Tavares, Smith Rowe, Maitland-Niles, Elneny, Pepe, Aubameyang, Nketiah, Balogun

Bit fucking harsh that like, there's just no need
Out of that lot I am guessing Leno,Tavares,Holding,Gabriel,Tomiyasu,Clive,Elneny,Pepe,Smith Rowe,Nketiah,Auba.A midfield to be scared of ,it certainly scares me :D

This fixture might just bite us on the arse. :?

We have the guts of a decent first team, and even then we are weak in central midfield, but our second string are mostly gash.

Head says we should win.

Stomach says we will be a "cup upset". Or "stay off the Lamb Bhuna".

Yeah we're going to concede a few against that. If we were a physical side I'd hope we'd cause problems but we're a very small technical side. Of course "technical" for league one is a world away from Smith fucking Rowe and the likes! Still, it's a quarter final and a free swing, bring it on :box:

Cheers mate, I'll try and pop in more regularly, it's just been a bit of a crap few years for both. Hopefully we're finally starting to turn it round, and you look like you're getting into a good place (fair play to Arteta, didn't think he had it in him) so there might be some more regular meetings eventually, and more optimism on here!

John Hawley

Scored a 40 yard screamer against Pat Jennings so Terry Neill bought him! :banghead:

Pepe is still out of his depth I see, his decision making is shocking.
