PL Fixtures 2022/2023
Re: PL Fixtures 2022/2023
That's a decent first five fixtures for a change. I'd be expecting maximum points from those five games even with a fully fit current squad, before any signings.

Same here, don't ever recall being so disinterested in the start of a new season, despite some encouraging transfers, rumoured transfers and departures.DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 8:29 ammcdowell42 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 8:01 am1st 5 games
Away to Palace on 1st day
Home to Leicester
Away to Bournemouth
Home to Fulham
Home to Aston Villa
PS Let the whinging commence
Tbh I'm struggling to give enough of a flying fuck to even manage a good whinge.
Arteta will still be there so it's a waiting game until his departure.

The only problem with that logic is that we will NEVER get a proper manager until the Kroenkes go.goonersid wrote: ↑Sat Jun 18, 2022 3:09 pmSame here, don't ever recall being so disinterested in the start of a new season, despite some encouraging transfers, rumoured transfers and departures.DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 8:29 ammcdowell42 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 8:01 am1st 5 games

The current Arsenal model is what it will be like for the foreseeable future. It has been like that for a decade at least now and nothing likely to change any time soon.
The customers are happy and pack the stadium out each week while singing their support for the manager.
No problems at all as far as the owners are concerned.

The One and Only Time Wiggy&Jnr will even consider selling Arsenal is if and when it suits them and that would only be if they were no longer raking in a nice profit & dividends every year.

Hard to argue with any of that.

Don't mind me saying g88ner, but you mistakenly included the word 'morale' in that sentence.
Re: PL Fixtures 2022/2023
Arsenal will travel out to Germany for a pre-season training camp as their first trip abroad with a friendly against FC Nurnberg on July 8 at the Max-Morlock Stadion pencilled in.
They then return to London before travelling out to America for their second international tour of pre-season on July 13, where they will face Everton and Chelsea.
I'm sorry but the waste of resources to travel across the Atlantic to play 2 PL teams seems a bit pointless to me.
