Mbappe leaving PSG - why not let the oil cheats sign him as well and finish it all off completely

SteveO saw that headline on SSN and I thought exactly the same thing :banghead:
He'll go to Madrid

Absolutely. Benzema has left and they need a big name striker..... They don't get much bigger than Mbappe.

Could Arsenal actually go spend crazy this summer...... It feels like it may just be possible!?

I'll be positively moist if we sign Rice and Caicedo in the next week!! :barscarf:

Didn't a certain ex-manager of ours spend the whole of one summer advising Mbpappe about his career options if he moved from Monaco, rather than actually doing any real work for the club he was paid a load of money to manage?

🚨 || Arsenal and West Ham are creeping towards an agreement for Rice. Arsenal understood to be exploring possibility of bidding for Caicedo as well as signing Rice [Via - @SamJDean].

Mbappe will have to take a bit of a hit when it comes to his wages.

Unless he goes to man city

Not sure Madrid can fund both Bellingham and Mbappe in one Summer. That is 300m+ investment there. Will be interesting to see where he goes.

I see we are in for Castagne, what do people think of him? Probably quite cheap can play RB, LB and has experience. He looked one of Leicesters better players last season, though that is not saying much.

Good signing?

Sort of think he's missed the boat a bit with all of this. Signing for PSG a few years back had some attraction with the idea that even though you'd have to play in a shit league against shit teams, you'd get loads of money and have a good chance of winning the Champions League. After a decade of spending inordinate sums of money, all Mbappe has is a few French league titles and cups which is the equivalent of winning the third tier in England and perhaps the Papa John's Vans Windscreen trophy. This is probably all due to the fact that PSG play in a completely shit league which had absolutely no relevance.
He's an incredible talent but is now in a tough situation where nobody really needs him. There are about three clubs in the world who could afford the stupid fee and wages and he wants to leave one of them. He's like one of those houses you see on those property programmes that could have been sold for stupidly high price two years earlier and now can't be sold because everyone's moved on.

Thomas Partey, who has two years left on his contract, has drawn attention from two Italian clubs. If a deal for Caidedo is successful, Arsenal may be eager to move him [Via - @GaryJacob].

How about we wait and see before we start throwing Teddies, Edu and hopefully Arteta have learnt over the last 3 years in terms of transfers and even with the end of season collapse the team performed miracles last season. Some of you really seem to underestimate last seasons achievement considering the average age of the squad was something like 24 and a lot of those players were inexperienced when it came to the high level of expectation and pressure they were under.

Also Xhaka......

Some of you seem to think it is only us against City in the coming season but the one thing that you seem to ignore is that all those teams that had awful seasons this year will likely improve next season and that will put pressure on us but will also create pressure on City. With the exception of us City had an easy run at the league last season and we fell at the last hurdle. If as mooted by some this Shitty team isn't as good as previous then it stands to reason they wont have as easy a time next season if we are not going to :rubchin:

Anyway chins up you miserable gits we have as much chance as any of the others if Arteta/Edu get the signings right and in all probability they can actually see things that us armchair wallahs can't.
