Yeah I thought in a shoot out if the ball hits the post and comes back out it doesn’t count if it deflects back in.

Let’s not be too harsh on the lads. We are through and Porto came here for penalties. They were Bolton and Stoke from minute one. Alardyce and Pulis put shite like this against us in our pomp and stifled us when we had Bergkamp and Henry.

We didn’t bottle it in the penalties and we are through. This is a young team still learning. Same for the manager. Tactically we could have been better and we got sucked in by some of their dark arts. If they tried to go toe to toe it would have ended badly for them so they went to the dark side.

The ref didn’t clamp down on it and denied us a goal which should have been given in keeping with what he did let Porto get away with. Once they figured out they could walk all over him they went full anti football.

McCoist, Cara, Keys et all are just jelly of my beloved club and have to earn their fee spouting click bait in an attempt to be relevant. So ignore them for them for the failures they are. Celebrate like it’s 1999 and really boil their p*ss.

It will be interesting to see us go against a footballing side. Yes we need to do better but let’s enjoy the win and going through for now during the interlull.
