EXCL: Arsenal offer Jorginho new contract & midfielder expected to sign it. Existing terms run until June with option for another year, but fresh deal rewards 32yo’s importance to #AFC

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Kelleher would be a very good signing. Always looks very clam and quick in goal. £20-25M would be a good investment for a young, talented goalkeeper at his level of experience (playing European football and cup games/finals- winning a few too).Retro Gunner wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 5:34 pmxgtdec wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 3:25 pmhttps://www.football365.com/news/liverp ... mano-nunez
Would we take him on as a no 1........i wouldnt mind another Irish lad at the Arsenal since Deckers doesnt really count and i cant keep bigging up Eddie Mcgoldrick forever.
Kelleher has looked very good every time I've seen him and it's hard to imagine that he wouldn't be an improvement on our two. I'd be happy to give him a go, especially at the £20 million mentioned in this article. Raya is about to cost us £30 million if we buy him (if I remember correctly). I wonder if Liverpool would stop him signing for us?
Anyway, it's academic, as I've no doubt that Arteta wants his fellow Spaniard between the sticks.
Would Liverpool sell to us? If he wants to leave and the price is right, I think they would. It's all academic though.

I can only hope the stupid barcode c.unts price that peroxide haired c.unt Bruno Whatsisface out of the market. When I hear £80m being quoted for shite like him it reminds me of the silly money the Chavs threw at overrated pricks like Caicedo.
Douglas Luiz is a vastly superior player in every way and I'd be much happier we move for him instead.

Brazil forward Gabriel Jesus, 27, is prepared to fight for his place at Arsenal amid reports of a potential summer exit. (Sun)
Translated into real speak means, he knows he will be here next season because there isn't another club in the world who will take his wages off our hands
