Translated into real speak means, he knows he will be here next season because there isn't another club in the world who will take his wages off our hands

That's interesting, I've always liked him and would be happy for him to return.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2024 7:38 pm| Arsenal are looking to bring goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny back to the club next summer as backup for David Raya, according to reports. #AFC #Transfers

Arsenal are ready to listen to offers to sell Brazil forward Gabriel Jesus, 27, this summer. (Football Insider)
Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey, 30, and Jesus are said to be on the radar of several clubs in Saudi Arabia with lucrative contracts being lined up for the Arsenal duo. (Express)

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/gossip
Both leaving, if replaced with younger / better / physically fit players makes sense to enhance our team / squad.
Partey, unfortunately, very injury prone, on his day a powerhouse, but equally gets robbed of the ball too often due to not being aware of who is around him - he is on big money and was rumoured to have been on the way out in January, only for injury to scupper the deal
Jesus - again on his day a quality player, but all too often injured and not the out and out striker that will snap up chances.
His dribbling is great ( Trossard’s goal v Bayern an example and laid on Rice’s goal v Bournemouth) but is often ineffective In games.
At his age we sell now, rather than offer another 3/4 year deal when we can get better value.
Hopefully Saudi clubs jump at the chance to sign 2 high profile players and we get good money for the kitty

Both on monster wages and both injury prone and not good enough for title contenders. Would free up best part of 500k per week offloading these two. Both can show it in patches but honestly not good enough now we've become title challengers rather than Europa League also ransStuart L (2) wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 2:28 pmArsenal are ready to listen to offers to sell Brazil forward Gabriel Jesus, 27, this summer. If we want to go to the next level, then we have to upgrade wherever possible, these two are prime examples of that.SteveO 35 wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 7:07 pmBoth on monster wages and both injury prone and not good enough for title contenders. Thanks for the memories but it’s time to say goodbye ( whatever that is in Saudi Arabia )

It'll be a strong skid mark for sure signing Nketiah. We've needed someone to come and buy all our shit since Everton gave up on Iwobi and Walcott! Good old Ipswichmcdowell42 wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2024 7:39 amIpswich Town has prepared a £60m offer for Arsenal duo Eddie Nketiah and Emile Smith Rowe!!!

Al-Qadisiyah - backed by oil giants Aramco - are keen on signing Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus this summer, TBR Football understands, although it remains to be seen if he is keen on joining the Saudi Pro League. Arsenal have told Jesus that they will NOT stand in his way, but they also insist that they are not actively looking to sell. [@GraemeBailey, @tbrfootball] #afc

NEW: #AFC won't be able to complete the Bruno Guimaraes deal in June due to FFP. However, Newcastle's owners MIGHT would accept £80m instead of the initial £100m. Bruno is receptive to the idea of joining Arsenal. (@Teamnewsandtix)
