FA CUP SEMI FINAL: Confirmation E-mail

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

FA CUP SEMI FINAL: Confirmation E-mail

Post by Cesc is God »

I've just been on the Arse website and I have read the situation regarding supporters getting their Chelsea tickets...
Phase Two

All applicants will be informed via email by 3pm Tuesday 24th March 2009, advising of their Registration status
I am still yet to recieve an e-mail stating whether I've been successful or not. I'm kinda shitting myself because as you can see, I only have 8 hours left...

I mean, should I be worried... Have you recieved an e-mail regarding tickets for this fixture? :?

Nope. Still no e-mails. This doesn't look good.

Well for those of you who want to see me crash and burn, I'll let you know how it goes...

I read elsewhere that fans will know on Wednesday 25 March whether they have been successful.

The official site says that all applicants will be informed by 3pm today so I am not sure where this Wednesday bit comes from?

CIG - my dad had a load of trouble actually registering on the site, but when he did manage it he got an e-mail back.

Hope you get it sorted and its just a blip in the ticketmaster machine.

Good luck to the rest of you guys too as long as my dad gets one first!

I think we're talking about two separate emails here:

You should have received one email to confirm your regsitration was successful - I got mine within moments of registering.

Check your junk mail filters if you did register properly - or try calling the expensive helpline number they set up: 0844 277 9955

I presume that at some point today after sales close to people guaranteed a ticket we will recieve a second email saying whether we have been successful in the ballot, and if so, including as link to the ticket office:

"Registrations for the FA Cup Semi-Final are now closed.
Any application for a particular fixture does not guarantee match tickets.

Should we receive more registrations of interest than tickets available, a random ballot will be held.

All communications concerning this application will be with the lead client only.

An application can contain a maximum of 10 valid Platinum /Gold (Season ticket) Members.

All applicants will be informed on the status of their application via email by 3pm Tuesday 24th March 2009. This will guarantee one ticket per successful member. This guarantee will only be applicable if tickets are purchased within the allotted time window detailed in this e-mail communication. "

here's hoping!
