When should the banner be unfurled

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The publicity is already there. The media are praying for it to be unveiled, as it'll give em the column inches they want.

If it isnt shown. Then the pro-wenger banner will get the headlines.

Show it at a later date after a few bad results and it will be mocked or just wont get covered, the press will actually be annoyed with you for the fact you didnt show up at sunderland...posting the picture of it online has brought the expectency it will be actually shown.

To be honest reading the posts on here I thought it was a dead cert it would be displayed, and had numbers willing to do it. If you cant get numbers in club level surely you can in the lower or upper. I mean you can go pretty much anywhere you want in the stadium. You dont need tickets together, just march into an area and display it. For as long as you can. Let em take it, in front of the cameras, go back to your actual seats, support the team and have a pint, and get you flag back at the end of the game.
Exactly, 8) now mods please lock. :barscarf:

what about...

Newcastle 4-4
Spurs 4-4
Birmingham 2-2
Blackburn 2-3
For the above bolded one, RedWanker will probably say that the referee got Newcastle the draw and moan about the penalties etc....

the referee got Newcastle the draw.

2 of their goals should never have stood.
their penalty was a joke

only slight worry - Tiote's goal was similar to Kyle Walkers.
maybe our defence needs to be more aware of these shots from long range

Im sorry, and i have not said anything before. Red is clearly a WUM and anybody that thinks he has a right to free speech or has a view different to their own really does need a check up :banghead:

There's free speech and then there's winding people up while contributing nothing to a debate. Bang on Jamjc.

You what was pathetic? Being humiliated at OT 8-2 eight fucking two!! and spotting an IAWT banner the next game after. No self respecting Gooner would ever do such a thing.
I don't know why there continues to be this fuss about losing 8-2
There were lots of reasons why we lost that day

1) the players were tired after the CL game
2) Vermaelen was injured
3) Sagna was ill
4) Gibbs was injured
5) Song was suspended
6) Frimpong was suspended
7) Gervinho was suspended
8) we had just sold Nasri and Fabregas
9) Wilshere was injured
10) we are not going for the title this season so we can afford to lose at OT

at least we managed to score 2 that day. And at half time we were doing better than Chelsea managed up there. We were only losing 3-1, not 3-0
Mate - I supported you on the thread trying to get you banned. BUT -

1. This post is either a deliberate attempt to wind Arsenal fans up
or
2. You are a complete imbecile.

I suspect it is option 1 having just read it again - never have I read such a load of utter rubbish. In which case if anyone else puts up a thread asking to have you banned I'll support it.

You're like that character on The Fast Show in the 90s - the one that knew f**k all about football but tried to look knowledgeable in the pub with his mates because football had become trendy.

I hate to keep reapeating myself but you guys only have yourselves to blame by constantly replying to his deliberately aggrivating posts.
Do everyone a favour and ignore his piss taking jibes.
But..... I dont think a ban is warranted. An odd time he makes a little sense. Not often though.
Just ignore him. He is a wum indeed. Quite subtle at it too.

If anyone off here fancies doing it outside the ground Sunday, shoot me a message. It seems a good idea.
