For all the millions they've spent, City still seem to have a thing about playing us. They always seem a lot more cautious than they are against other teams & they seem content to sit back, pack the midfield & play for a draw. Has Mancini not realised that we're probably there for the taking if they have a real go at us?

That said i'm sure we'll now lose about 5-0 next week

considering we only lost 1-0 against their first team in the CC, then we have a chance in this one as well. but optimism in such games can end up backfiring.

will be tough, but i'm going back to manchester with a little bit more optimism

just hope no one goes down injured in the week, apart from our defenders dropping like flies - wenger is starting to pick a settle side

and surely he will go with the same 11 as today

On the basis that City have won all seven home league games - in addition to the 6-1 victory at Old Trafford - I can only conclude that we'll be soundly beaten.

ok how's this... i think the chavs will beat citeh on monday and if we follow that up with a win on sunday the leagues wide open again. plus for once we are the team thats had longer to rest between games playing the kids in the champions league and we have 2 more days to recover this week.....usual bet in this one for me 3-1 Arsenal :barscarf:

To be fair last season's away win had a lot to do with them having only 10 men for 85 minutes.

We can get a draw this time around and we must take into account the mood in the Man City dressing room at the moment. Many of them are probably thinking about getting out in January, now that there wont be anymore Champs league.

My prediction is 2:2
This is always a good day out anyway and if its anything like last season we'll take the roof off the Etihad again

Why? :?

They'll be cup tied anyway if they move clubs, and Citeh will be in it next year.

3-1 Citeh
And they saw Koscienly, Arteta, Song, Walcott, Gervinho, Van Persie etc, we could be here all day, they had more of their regular players then we did put it that way.

They can hurt us, we have players that can hurt them and they concede more than last year, they will be under pressure, we can't play under pressure, we won't be under any mentally like against Chelsea.

Football ain't won on paper, we go there with a chance, can't be wasteful and everyone will have to graft which this team does.

Walcott v Clichy will settle this.

Can see us getting a score draw, but would love it if we were the team to end their unbeaten run. Be a disgrace if they became 'the invincibles mk.II'

Chelsea away was a real test but city away is a totally different kettle of fish, they are destroying teams at the moment and they're home record speaks for itself, I reckon we'll score but just can't see the back four keeping the likes of silva and aguero quiet. 3-1 city. :(

Don't think we can beat them in Manchester, though a draw is possible and it would make me reasonably satisfied.
