Todays games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Terrible result. Why are people rejoicing in the fact Utd lost?! Dear me.

The fact that this pony United team are still 2nd doesnt reflect very well on us or the rest of the league. This team put 8 past our lot and havent even tested Krul all night.

Their midfield is absolutely shite by the way.

Despite Fergie saying he won't spend in January I reckon he'll be going out and making a big signing now. He doesn't hang about when action needs to be taken......unlike some.

Dan

now I can understand the confusion about the Chelsea/City game a few weeks back (which most people also got wrong on here) but I would have thought tonight we obviously would want Man United to lose as they are our competitiors for a top 4 place

as I predicted last month they are now collapsing as all their players are injured and I think we have a chance of catching them if they lose tonight.
Red, you need to stop it now mate. It isn't a pretty sight me keep sitting here wetting myself :D

This was my feeling. I am also fairly certain Chelsea will splash the cash as well

Inexplicably they seem to want either the plastic Petrodollar Mancs, Captain Chavs Rentboys or the Scummers to win the league - obviously

Lost on me

We should be more worried about Newcastle being 3 points behind

Possible link to Inter beginning talks with Tevez- Schneider out to Mancs leaving plenty off funds for Inter to play with

Jaysus look at the league. We are 9 points behind manure, 3 points ahead of the bar codes! :banghead:

Exactly, come on red you seriously can't believe we can finish above the mancs?! As things are going we will be lucky to finish 6th above newcastle let alone the mancs, get real mate.

With the goal difference its 10 points in effect......never mind, Red thinks they are about to collapse whilst we are on the verge of something special with the artist formerly known as TH14, the 'super quality' man from Oman, and possibly.....wait for it now.....Wayne Bridge on loan

Those Mancs better beware - Arsene's firing a warning to you all

That's before Red gets his wish and we sell RvP !

Worst thing about that result, twitchy and his bunch of t**ts go joint 2nd if they win next week.

Best thing is we can now stop the w***ing over Phil Jones as the second coming of Bryan Robson and Tony Adams rolled into one

We're light years behind challenging Utd, and if anything I'd prefer them to win the League than City and certainly those c**ts from the Lane, so not at all bothered if they win. Also I don't want Newcastle nicking our Europa League spot... :D

...how times have changed. It was virtually unthinkable to watch United games thinking anything other than "hope the bastards get stuffed" but now we don't compete I actually find myself wanting them to do better than the other title contenders
No, you're not alone. These truly are sad days.
