strange - no matter how good RVP is/was you can't come 3rd on your own,Red Member wrote:I am not voting for anyone.
there comes a point when suddenly you will find that there is nobody else able to step up because there are not enough top players around them. We are now at this point.
best finish with Cesc in the team 4th
we also
a) couldn't rely on him to stay fit if he stayed
b) signed 2 good forwards
can't agree with that, Sagna + Kos obv way better in their positions (BTW I thought Kos looked decent 1st season despite several bad errors). I also rate Szcz and Song (know lots on here don't). In midfield obv Arteta and Wilshere are better. Our 2 new signings are top scorers in their domestic leagues and we do actually still own RVP...Red Member wrote:Much as I like Walcott the fact that he is now arguably our best player is somewhat worrying.
post ACN/his pen miss he was poor. The whole point of this thread is improvement - silly to be rude, we're all just guessing.Red Member wrote:who are the 5 clowns who voted for Gervinho? remember that he got progressively worse last season.
this bizarre switcheroo makes me think those that accuse you of trolling could be right asRed Member wrote:I was often the voice of optimism last season but I can't find anything positive about the coming season at all
er, we havent sold anyone...Red Member wrote:Kroenke continues his asset stripping approach to the club.
we may sell a player who insist on going.
Gazidis in an employee.
good luck getting tickets on that basisRed Member wrote:I will go to our (last) season of CL football but refuse to go to all other games. We have no hope of the title, no ambition to win the title and you are getting seriously ripped off for attending the best PL matches.
this is a poor post red...

Coquelin is ready in my opinion. The lad has something, and as a DM actually sits infront of the back 4 rather than trying Hollywood passes every 5 minutes.
Ramsey - Be interesting to see him this year. Last year was his first FULL season after the injury, and it showed. But that was also due to a complete lack of cover for him. He played too much.
Jenkinson is a good player, he showed that before he got injured.
Gerv will benefit from his first season. I never write players off after 1 year, history has shown us what can happen.

I'm surprised no-one has joined me in my prediction that Squillaci will fulfill his potential this coming season. He will show his world class qualities and provide unrivalled consistency in his defensive game and continue the rise of Arsene FC 1996.

Well at this state of the proceedings - The OX is in the lead with 31% of the vote, but for me he has already 'stepped up' and had our dullard of a manager utilised him better - the arshavin substitution being a dark, angry memory - then he would have wreaked a lot more damage on opposing teams, we cannot play him every week - it would wreck his body, but he needs to be played 'sparingly' and 'wisely', which is something our (present) glorious leader doesn't seem to have fully grasped, as to when and why?

Depends what I'm voting for.
Player who I think could surprise us: Gervinho (runner-up: Jenkinson)
Player who I think will be significantly better: Ramsey (runner-up: Jenkinson)
