Really Hope Giroud plays and scores. Very honest type of Palyer. We dont need to weaken/tweak/rotate our team too much, a game like that is worth more to us than a week training to keep continuity. Put out 5-6 1st team regulars and mix in lads who genuinely need the games. Coq, Theo, Santos, etc.

Quite a few 1st team fringe players haven't had much/any game time.

Giroud
Theo
Santos
Djourou
Coquelin
Arshavin
Even Squillaci!

The Midfields a tricky one as AW tends to opt for experience to balance the youth.
I can't see either Cazorla, Diaby or Arteta playing.
This would have been a game for Rambo to have bossed but he played the full 90 on Sun only leaving the Ox. I don't want to risk playing Alex.

Thinking...
-------------------_Martinez
Yennaris-----Djourou---Miquel----Santos
----------------------Coq
-------------Elsfield------Ramsey/Ox
Theo---------------Gnabry----------------Arshavin
--------------------Giroud

There maybe some variations with positions in Midfield. Either of the midfield (baring Theo) could be the playmaker. Also AW could go for a 442 with Theo & Giroud upfront. I'd quite like to see that, see how Theo does upfront. (Doubt he can!)

Really this is such a non game he could put anybody out there, even Steve Bould and we would still win.

Ah Great! That solves my "Squillaci on the bench" conundrum.

As much as I'd like to think of this as a 'walk over' (for The Arsenal) - We all know that Football is unpredictable...so we will still have to turn up and do the business, or get caught cold.... :?

Think we will run out comfortable winners although i expect a decent performance from Cov. Would like to see Giroud play and hopefully open his account.

To be fair Baba said Jenkinson was just "competent" in the Citeh game thread, when he had outplayed Sinclair and lieutenant Worf all day long, and everyone else said he had played his best game in an Arsenal shirt. So with the bar set at that ridiculous level its no wonder Giroud is getting slaughtered.

Oh yes. The great Scottie Sinclair. The man who's a hybrid of Luis Figo and Cristiano Ronaldo. The Swansea legend and recent Chelski reserve. The Maccabi Tel-Aviv legend Scott Sinclair. I stand by my assessment: Sinclair was 'competent'.
Arsenal fans said he had 'his best game'? So what? Arsenal fans also told me Giroud was 'class' upon signing, and that Chesney was 'better than Tim Krul' when it's patently bollocks.
