Arsenal v Montpellier

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsenal v Montpellier

I assume we will win this easily. Lets hope so. Don't fancy needing a result in Athens.

Cut off Kroenke's/Wengers life support in the CL.. or get knocked out by a top club in the Quarter finals.

Take your pick.

On another note, would like to see Ox have some good minutes, he has been somewhat disappointing so far this season.

Hopefully a good performance here, coupled with the joy of beating Sp*rs 8), will give us much needed confidence going into 2 very tricky away games next week... Villa and Everton.

Don't care too much if we go out of the champs league, we won't win it and it takes the focus from us trying to win domestuc cups we have a slightly better chance in.

We already cocked this up with the Schalke home game. I think the greeks will get 2nd because I'm watching leverkausen rip Schalke a new one in the Bundesliga on ESPN. Leverkusen should be 5/6 up instead of just 2nil. If they play like this against Olympiacos on Wed night then we are screwed for the last away game in Athens.

Unfortunately Chippy even if we win this week we will still need at least a point in Greece if Olympiakos pick up anything from Schalke. :worried: Although if both us and the Germans win then we will both be through with one match left and be fighting it out only for top spot in the last game. :barscarf: :barscarf:

As they say if we struggle to get 4 points from Montpellier and Olympiakos in the final matches then we really don't deserve to be in the competition!

Sure would be interesting if Olympiacos got a positive result in Shalke

2-1 - could be a 'little bit jaded' after Saturday, but fuck me this lot are shite and already out. We can't fuck it up against them surely?

Don't want to be going to Greece needing to get a result especially as we've got two much bigger games straight afterwards against our virtual trophy rivals West Brom and a proper cup match at Bradford
