other games this weekend

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

And that is the scary thing. Howard Webb is considered the top referee in the league and he's completely fucking incompetent. The quality of officiating in the league is a disgrace.

No, I think they're perfectly competent - in maximising the EPL's share of tv rights and shirt sales around the globe.

The stats don't lie in relation to utds and Chelsea's losIng refs and penalty records, and time added on.

I reckon in 25 years someone will admit the EPL was bent from the get go.

Chelsea are real bunch of c*nts.

Oscar Eto'o should be off. Jose encouraging that malicious nature of previously 'nice' players.

tried this sh1t on us and it didn't work.

Glad at least we didn't lose to these surfers.

Mark my words we needed Liverpool to hold them up.

Then to eradicate it Webb should now be in front of the camera explaining why that wasn't a penalty - some chance!

Pundits have suggested there is so much money in the EPL that it is impossible to bribe the players. The referees are the obvious weak link.

along with the FA members themselves.

can you imagine the outrage at Lancaster Gate if a Forest or Villa won the league nowadays ????

much like the NBA - everything the NBA gets in revenue - from ticket sales, shirts, sponsorship deal's, advertising, TV rights etc all relies on the biggest names being successful every year - no-one in the US wants to watch the Timberwolves v the Thunder.
