Gooner Wembley mash-up special guests a rugby league team

Post by topgoon »

Won't bother commenting on what's just gone before but what is to come.

He can't motivate them for his virtual trophy anymore. All of us going hope professional pride for a trophy might motivate them but I doubt it.

A gutless 2-1 loss with the obligatory AFC keeper clanger, well it is Wembley and that's par for the course.

Followed by the manager's resignation....hopefully.

Had a bad feeling about this since the draw. We have no confidence, pace, creativity, vision, tactical plan.

1-2. Wigan in the final.

We will batter them by 4 or 5 goals being the flat track bullies we are and Wenger will be let off the hook once more

Let's look objectively shall we...

No confidence,no creativity,no pace, a hapless left back, no Koscielny,no tactics Manager and look at the team we are playing, bar the Koscielny point, they are everything we aren't at the moment. An 11 game u.beaten run should not be ignored.

Make no mistake, they are favourites for that game. If you think otherwise then you've slept throughout our March/April games.

Agree 100% - they are a championship side and while I accept the fact that they are on an impressive run, they are still a championship club that we beat by 2 or 3 goals.

Just for the record I will say it again........there is NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING, that I wouldn't sacrifice to get rid of le cock and that includes this seasons fa cup

Probably a streaky 1-0 or 2-1.

Funnily enough I started to admire wigan when Martinez was their manager and like them as a club 8) I wonder if Martinez will give them a few suggestions after beating us today :rubchin:

We should cane them, even with our form. They are a Championship club and we have more than enough to see them off. That said, they will undoubtedly have a game plan unlike us and the longer it goes on 0-0 or if they nick a goal we will get incredibly nervy.

I can't believe how easy everyone seems to think this will be, they really have a good record if they go 1 up in a game this season and looking at our defending that's a distinct possibility.

We don't have pace so they won't worry about pressing us high up the pitch.

If Ramsey doesn't have any effects from today's game he needs to start with the ox.

If Herr Rossler has watched one game we've played in recently he's watched them all. We could very well get dumped out.

I'm gonna have to drink 20 pints before this match to numb the pain if wigan turn us over, which they wont.

Then again if wenger fails to realise that cazorla and podolski are not capable of covering our full backs, and the ox should start on one side. Then we are in trouble.
