Not sure about the allocation, somewhere around 23,000ish I think. Based on recent finals 3 away credits should get you in with no trouble.

There are many more than 23000 members with more than 3 away credits... But this is a Final so we're talking GOLD members only (i.e. season ticket holders) - and a lot of them never go to away games so cut off for a guaranteed ticket very likely to be as low as 3-5 credits.

How come the allocation will be 23.000ish only?

According to wiki, City were given 31.700ish (25.000 initially) last year, surely Arsenal should be allowed at least as many this year... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013_FA_Cup_Final :rubchin:

What I do know is a lot of these tkts will turn up on craigslist and the like when gooners can't get a ticket. Club members and corporate should be given to Hull and Arsenal fans but that won't happen

Don't forget that City were playing Wigan...Don't think we'll be quite so lucky as to expect Hull to return part of their allocation!

Because they were playing Wigan who can't sell out. I expect Hull will sell out their allocation.

It's definitely a pisstake that they can go from a semi final situation where two clubs are offered 31k / 32k each to suddenly just 23k or 24k each in the final.

I have no problem with the grassroots allocation part of it, but all the 'corporate family' side of things is overdone by at least 10k tickets. Should be 30k allocation to each club absolute minimum.

League cup final experience > FA Cup final experience.

Its a complete and utter disgrace that so many tickets go to greedy disinterested wankers. I also have no problem with allocating a small number of tickets to the 'grassroots' cause but the FA is an organisation that employs just over 600 people. Add a pair of tickets for a few top-level execs from each sponsor. Doesn't add up to 40,000 to me :rubchin:

But then when was the last time an FA decision made you say, "Hmm that seems very fair, transparent and in the interest of the fans"?

At least there will be an extra 96 tickets getting used for the final.

Those 96 empty seats with Pool scarves on were way OTT IMHO- sure have that at Anfield (which they didnt) and I know the Hillsborough match was a cup semi but why effectively penalise supporters of 2 other clubs
