I think I'm missing something DB - why is this a vanity thread?

This started a few years ago. We had a couple posters that would literally start a thread about every thought they had. They'd also start a thread about something specific like say Walcotts contract even though we had a specific thread already on here about that, all because their opinion was just soooooo important they had to ensure it stood out and was read by everyone. We called them vanity threads. So we take the piss out of each other in a friendly way by calling even slightly related threads "vanity threads".

Such is my indifference to international football these days I dont really know much about any of the teams bar their star players.

My initial thoughts are that Argentina should win in, with their attacking options (such that Tevez cant even get in the squad i dont think) but I have no idea who is in their defence, but I'd wager they have a couple of no nonsense hard bastards at the back.

Other than that I hope that the Arsenal players do well and dont get injured.

A European team won't win so it's down to the Argies, You Are Gay or Brazil. It's the hosts for me as it's massive advantage playing at home and lady boy Neymar will be top scorer

I don't know. But NOT brazil in my opinion, they're not actually that good anymore, people are assuming they'll win it because its on their own turf but I don't think they've got as much quality as spain, Germany or argentina.
