Just turned on my computer, no surprises to see 1989 was the last commenter. Has your life come to a complete standstill the past week? You can finally shower now

Seriously though, what a signing. Not a magic solution to all our problems but somebody who is tailor-made for that wide forward position (or how it should be played anyway) and can offer a viable option at centre-forward for most games. Regardless of whether or not the opportunity presented itself like a whore in a Bangkok brothel, I'm delighted. Far better than I imagined!

If someone had told me this time last year that within twelve months Arsenal would sign Ozil, win the Cup and then sign Alexis Sanchez I would of pissed my self laughing.

Sanchez is a fantastic signing

Must confess I didn't know an awful lot about him until the WC, don't particularly follow Spanish or Italian football in any great detail. But very impressed from what I saw of him in the WC and a lot of people seem to rate him very highly. And to sign him over the slum dwelling victims puts the icing on the cake
