Anderlecht Away match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Anderlecht Away match thread

Post by Chippy »

As people have said on the Hull thread, I am really struggling to get up any enthusiasm this season. This will be a another bore with us snatching a last minute winner.

More interested in the boat race and the ladies team

I'd struggle to find a game I could be less interested in.....thankfully I'm on a business trip abroad and unlikely to be anywhere near a telly so won't even have the dilemma of thinking "should I bother"

if they let us play ? - 3-0. alexis, welbeck and wally.

if not - 0-1.

unfortunately our players will be a little bit jaded afterwards for the big game against the mackems.

Yes and the mackems are going to have something to prove after todays thrashing by Southampton.

Going to take a different view on this one - I'm going to make the most of the CL this season as I can't see us getting back again for a while after this season.

I enjoyed the Galatasaray game and have already bought my ticket for the Anderlecht home game

Martinez in goal, wouldn't be so confident that we are going to go there and win, the way this season is going it's got draw written all over it.

It's Wenger's birthday on Wednesday - he'll be 65.

Might give him some monkey poo as a present.

Just hope he doesn't forget the size 20 shoes, white face paint and red nose that are pre-requisites of playing in goal for Arsenal.
