Barcodes match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wasn't that wonderful game after our CL exit that year?

Nope we were top of the league I recall, then went on to win v Barcelona, then lost league cup to Birmingham, followed by being out of the CL, FA Cup and Title Race within the space of 3 weeks

after the unusual effort in Monaco, I expect us to be flat and jaded with the handbrake in evidence.

Perfect game at the perfect time for the luckiest manager in all football.

We'll pick off an uninterested Geordie team and with citeeh in full bottle mode, we might just find ourselves in 2nd place.

All will then be forgotten about another disastrous CL campaign and the disciples will be stupidly emboldened to the point where they confidently reel out the title challenge spiel.

Bit like Monaco had in the first leg

However, unlike Monaco who were a very good team treated with absolute disdain.....the Barcodes are utter ***** and playing like they are already on their holidays. A nice 2-0 win at the scene of our 4th placed trophy success from 2 years ago. Selfies and high fives all round

cenre half? is that what they're called? is it 1922? :rubchin:

If I was a neutral anda betting man I would still a score on Arsenal to cruise to a 3-0 win. But this is Arsenal.

our trevails in monaco are no excuse for any ineptitude tomorrow. ramsey needs to start, he looks like he is coming into form, stick walcott on for sanchez who has looked a little rusty recently and we're giving ourselves a decent chance.

He needs to rest Sanchez and Coquelin and play Rosicky and Ramsey
