Barcodes at home Saturday 2nd January

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I am going to this one with my kids. I think that we will huff and puff but reckon it will be 2-0 with a Giroud double.

I foresee a struggle... A comfortable win will kill any slim hopes of January strengthening.A red hot striker & we would have put 5 past Bournemouth. For every great goal Theo scores, he squanders 10. Wenger refuses to see it though.

This is just about ticking another box over the silly festive schedule. Just get out with 3 points and no injuries and I'll be happy.

We will win this game but I don't see it becoming a rout unless we score a couple of early goals.

Tbh I like mc claren and hope he keeps them up  For me there are a few other clubs down there that I would much rather see relegated, and I always felt sorry for mc claren after that "wally with the brolly" witchunt by the English meeja
I do think that this might be a good game for ozil to get a well earned rest 8)

Who the fuck knows. We're a Jekyll and Hyde team; the only consistency is that we're inconsistent.

I'll agree with Falkirk Goon's analysis :barscarf:

I think we can win this one 2 - 0. 'The Boy Wonder' on the bench & play anyone else up front. Maybe Gabriel, & Kos back at CH !!!.

Expect a comfortable win here.
Newcastle are shite at home and even worse away.
At least a three goal win.
Will set us up well for the new year.
