Mesut Ozil

I wonder how pissed off he gets with the number of times he puts players through and our excellent strike force squander them

I think he put people through 9 times yesterday and only one was scored, must get a bit depressing for him. During the commentary someone said he's put people in goal scoring opportunities 76 times so far this season, oh and has an average pass completion of 88.3%.

Not too shabby :barscarf:

I'm glad he's on song now. Shame about the shite around him though. I hope he scores more too. He was too liable to pass when he should shoot. He's started to put them away more though.

Who'd have thought about forward passes that actually go through defences. Remember those, Wenger? :banghead:

I take it the shock emoticons have been induced not by the suggestion that he would ask such a thing of you Chippy, but at the thought he would need to? :rubchin: :rubchin:

Must admit that touch from Giroud was class. Hes done a couple of them in and around the box. As they say - "nice feet for a big man". :D
But the chances he and Theo miss, and in particular against Bournemouth was scandalous! Fact remains that Ozil is a top class, world class player. Giroud is not. Giroud can be wasteful and is not in Ozil's league, so I dont really see the point of your post Robin.

Unless like many on here have said you're just wumming........ :rubchin:

Nice trolling, Robin :barscarf:

The touch from Giroud was as lucky as it was class. The fact is that it just doesn't happen enough. Are you really comparing Giroud to Ozil, let alone Van Persie, Henry, etc. Fuck Aguero, we've got Giroud.

It does amaze me how many people defend Giroud and don't think we need an upgrade up front. His goalscoring record is okay, granted, but he doesn't suit the way we play and is too slow. A lone striker isn't really supposed to be holding the ball up for his team-mates. Then again, TOF seems to like a congested 4-6-0 (or 2-8-0) with no fucker in the box. That suits his infuriating tippy-tappy shite.
