Watch it and weep

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I found myself admiring the other players in the video as they appeared as well. Legends such as Steve Bould, Ray Parlour, Ian Wright, Thierry Henry, Robert Pires.......... and then Aliadiere appeared!

You cant have it all i suppose! :D

Makes me proud and honoured to have watched such a magnificent player play for 10 years in our shirt. He played for MY club, and Spurs, Chelsea, pretty much most supporters of other clubs can never say they saw a player play for their team that was as good as he was.

One of the all time greats, a great video...makes me proud to be Arsenal even if it was in the past

The past/history has made our great club what it is. If we had no past/history to glory in we'd be fucking chelsea

Adding another here, this might not make you weep as much as it will make you feel proud. :barscarf:

:coffeespit: Seriously mate - how old are you??? That's the sort of thing my son would say and he's just started school. Open your eyes and compare what's on that video to the shite we're watching now.

The only reason Wenger is still manager of Arsenal Football Club is precisely because of what he achieved in the past. Based on his current record he'd be sacked at any other club!

We want to get behind his current team (please believe me on that!) but what is the point when they get some of the best support ever and they still lose 8-2 ?? Likewise on 5 May 2009 when the new stadium was the noisiest and most atmospheric I've ever heard but Man Utd thumped us 1-3 even though the players / manager had spent all week talking themselves up.

What more can supporters do if the players / manager can't deliver on the pitch??

The man should share the same title as Bret the Hitman Hart.

The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be.
