Probably the shortest match thread ever..Leicester v Arsenal..9/5/18.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

so basically our "best" player can't be bothered to turn up for this one, the manager has already had his send off, and so also won't be bothered, there is nothing left to play for... :rubchin:

when does the new season start ?

The gift that just keeps on giving....’special circumstances’ again being the reason we haven’t got an away point in 2018.
Right until the end we’re treated like village idiots

Shortly after being sacked he took a swipe at the fans, saying that the indifference was the reason why we have struggled. Ignoring the fact that we have a decent home record and a shocking away record, which completely undermines that.

Wouldn’t be surprised to hear a bit more of that once he goes.

Amongst the outpouring of grief from career pundits then there was an almost universal applause for his great dignity with the way he’s dealt with this. Even ignoring his selfishness at the end of last season with the uncertainty which he took great joy in creating and then later blaming for our woes, even ignoring those comments, what is dignified about greedily clinging on for so long that even the least interested owner in the league sacked him?
