Should add 2 teams who our immediate rival absolutely thrashed recently. So we have 0 excuses if we fail.

They will be up for it the crowd at least but any sort of decent paced start we should be in with a great chance of winning up there.

We can't keep clean sheets so whoever is at the back looking like White Tomiyasu cb pairing we will have to score at least two, play with pace we will create chances.

More and more though you look at this team and think first goal always decides the game we score we may win concede first and we just don't have it in us to turn a game around under Arteta. Wolves home the only one this season iirc. Playing the 14th placed team away needing a win the task could of been a lot harder.

Start of season two games to go point ahead of the 5th placed team most would of took it will the team and manager make the most of the chance? Patchy form all season tbh and those results early April unless we win our last couple could well be the reason we would have blown a great chance for 4th.

As for Middlesex & their last 2 games, they look easier on paper, Burnley & Norwich, both relegated, so they are only playing for pride. So the pressure is on us, but we have our own fate in our hands, would our scum rivals swap with us? Are we in a better position? :rubchin:
Burnley aren’t relegated. Burnley will be parking the bus and looking for a point as they often do. Especially as they are level on points with dirty Leeds who are in the relegation spot, 13 draws and 7 of them away. And scum struggle when sides park the bus and lost at Burnley not so long ago.

What is needed will depend on what scum do the previous afternoon. If scum win, Arsenal have to win. If scum draw, Arsenal can’t lose. If scum lose, any result for Arsenal will do as they still have a final day game against Everton. Think I will just ignore the football this weekend and see where things at on Monday morning.

Things are not going as well as we had hoped, however we have 2 games to win to get CL next season, it's not going to be easy & I've been worried about this Newcastle game for weeks. But let's face facts we don't deserve to qualify if we can't win these last 2 games anyway, I read that the Swampys have already won both their same games against the sides we have to play, so if we do the same we will be good enough. :barscarf:

Time to go for it, if we do what is needed they can't catch us, we know what is required, no excuses, blood & guts, we are The Arsenal & when we are underdogs we often surprise the doubters! :box: :barscarf: It was always going to come down to the last 2 games so bring it on! :box:

Come on you Gunners, don't let our club & supporters down! :barscarf:

Moaning & complaining is not an option, we are The Arsenal. :barscarf:
That line in itself tells you all you need to know.....We are apparently CL contenders, they are 14th, but we are the underdogs???? If spurs, City, 'pool or Chelsea went there they wouldn't be considered underdogs. Hell, even United wouldn't be, yet we are??? You would think we were heading to the Bernabau :? :?

The thing is Everton will be fighting for survival and just as they demonstrated when we played them at their toilet, they are one of the dirtiest teams in the prem, so Monday night's game against the Fat Bellies is for me the game we have a better chance of winning.

But with arteta in charge there is every chance we could show the ridiculous levels of naivety demonstrated against the scum in that there's a difference between getting the players gee'd up for a game and them not being able to rise to the occasion without going overboard which is what happened with Holding and a few of the other players.

My analysis is that we can win both games, we have a more than decent record against both Newcastle & Everton over last the decade. The media will be trying to put maximum pressure by saying we are up against the odds & some of our supporters will be going into depressive mode thinking we have already bolloxed it up. We are still in the frame, win 2 games & CL qualification is ours. :barscarf:

Leeds are already relegated, their form is shite, much worse goal difference plus also Burnley & Everton each have a game in hand.

I did ask the question, would Middlesex rather be in our present position, a point ahead with 2 games left, they have easier games on paper but The Arsenal know what they have to do. Win both games / or equal Middlesex swamp dwellers results.

Just looked at the latest bookie odds, so they are disagreeing with the anti Arsenal / totally pro Spuds dominated media & newspapers what a fecking surprise! :box: :box: :box:

The reserves game against Farnborough has been called off in response to our injury and suspension "crisis".....that's the self inflicted crisis by the way that sees you go from 9 centre halves to 3 in a season

Rekik or Kirk (or both) could be playing in this

Great squad management

It is "CRIMINAL" The way our club is being run. If ever proof was needed that:

a) Wiggy & Slimey Jnr are interested in Nothing But Profit and so sanctioned the stripping of the squad to the (less than) bare minimum. Just to save money.

b) Arteta (& Edu) Truly do NOT have a Scooby what they are doing, by reducing the squad of experienced (though albeit very average at best) players to its current state and NOT allowing for the spate of injuries that always happen during the last months of the season when players are tired and more likely to do damage to their bodies.

c) Employing various journo's and others in the Social media circles to write "Puff" pieces on them and how they have 'changed the culture of the club' and how they 'Are working miracles' and 'bringing the Arsenal fans and the club back together' in such a short amount of time ie: Telling LIES!

Jeeeezusss that grinds my shit!

Stop kidding yourselves, Arteta has blown it and in very similar circumstances as Emery, the games against Brighton and Palace have cost us.
We WON'T win at Newcastle, our only chance is sperz doing a sperz in either of their last 2 games.

Newcastle are planning to do a massive wor(whatever that is) flag display that will no doubt raise the atmosphere making our boy's knees knock. I can't see us winning here too many players missing and poor decisions in January costing us. Chambers could have filled in at right-back center back or midfield. We should have told him to hold on until the summer.

Unlike Emery though he has gone into full Maureen mode and started blaming the refs...choosing to ignore the fact that not only was he stuck with just Holding as an option, but that he was allowed to commit 4 fouls in quick succession to kill the game off. I wish he had said what he wanted and been suspended for 6 months !

Not a case of motivation with players like Cedric and Holding....they know themselves they arent good enough...Holding was in complete panic mode
