The white Diaby is back for his customary 5 games a season.

Just found highlights which included the goals on BBC site.
Thought this was strange as MOTD hasn't been on yet.

Did BBC show this game live or something?

Yes he seems to pass the ball well enough and strikes the ball well, but unless he's hiding other qualities does not look what we need

Looks very light weight for a midfield role in the premiership, he will until he bulks up a bit get pushed around like a rag doll in the middle of the park, as i say looks a strange choice....ah well Arsene Knows
Your first five words covered it. He has played one game.

I thought he looked decent given it was his first game in England, I expect he will play a fair bit going forward.

He passed quickly, often one touch, and he moved well, but looks more of a box to box player than a DM.

Feo's miss was the highlight for me (for all the wrong reasons). We're in the next round & with our two best fullbacks in this side things could have been a lot easier. El'Erny looks OK but as someone said a bit lightweight on the ball. Stout & steak should fix that. :barscarf: :barscarf:

Can't make this shit up. Giving him a two year deal was an absolute disgrace - had he been given 12 months and done enough last year to merit another we would hardly have been fighting off Barca to keep him this year. Just another example of Wenger's absurd loyalty to his favourites. Lest we remember that DB10 and Pires used to have to come cap in hand begging for one-year deals as soon as they hit 30.

Also stories that Wilshere has suffered another setback

Conveniently at the end of the window, next we will be hearing that Welbeck won't be fit for the foreseeable future either

The question is what did he do to get injured ?

On the game , it was a typical Arsenal performance of late..Theo "I am a central striker " Walcott proved again why he isn't.. 10 years at the club and his pace is still his only asset (harsh maybe?) and yet his pace is his biggest liability because he hasn't the football brain to stay onside. The one chance he got , one on one with a championship keeper , he fucked it up . Look at the similar chance that kid from Man City got at Villa. Thought Ox had raised his game a bit but near the end when we were criminally holding on Ox decides to take on an opponent in his own half , lost the ball but thankfully nothing came of it. It is repetition of mistakes from those two that is the most frustrating. With coaching those mistakes can be eradicated , and we know that aint happening anytime soon. We just plodded through the game directionless without leadership on or off the pitch. Same old story , same old Arsenal. I know Arsenal fans who say we have nothing to fear against Barca as long as we get a strong/fair referee over there...don't know whether to laugh or cry. :?
