The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

id take Micah Richards (A Gooner, on a free!) in a heartbeat - perfect Sagna replacement and is a decent CB too.

You say this like it would put Wenger off? The perfect guinea pig for our medical team to have out for 6 months at a time....

It's amazing how our rivals are doing their transfer business already. I thought we all had to wait till after the World Cup. :rubchin:

Particularly gutted about Shaw to Utd. :(

looks like atletico are Chelsea's bitches (other way round on the pitch). They sign Costa for a cheapish 32m and they let them have curtois for 1 year more on loan? Could have put him up for general bidding.

One striker off the list, does this mean Cavani is coming instead?

That's piss poor from Costa if true. Atletico have their biggest game for a generation next weekend and out of respect for the club that made him he should kept his future under wraps until then.

It's the same guy who betrayed his country and decided to play for Spain. He's a massive *word censored*, but he'll be absolutely brilliant for the chavs. Perfect Maureen striker.

Am stunned by the timing of this too  Tbf I think that costa isn't at fault here and the chavs should have shown enough respect to ath Madrid to not distract their preparations for this huge game  :censored:

1989, costa didn't betray his country......until recently they didn't want him and it's debatable how much of a part (if any) he would have played in brazil's plans so he was right to go 8)
