If Tierney is fit for the bench he must start, even if we'll only get 60mins out of him.
We've 2 LBs and neither fit to start against one of the best right wingers in the league. Fuck's sake.
But they've a 2nd choice left back and Martinelli has the beating of TAA. We really should win.

I’m hearing it’s a common theme with Arteta against them but I personally think it’s a negative one. Thinking about them more than ourselves. Only good thing is Martinelli isn’t someone that needs an overlap he can cause damage himself. We shall see. Don’t doubt Tommy’s defending for a minute.

Usually after going to the toilet, opening a car door, buying a newspaper, drying his hair, tbf I always held my breath when he took the knee, I never expected him to get back up

Good point. I'd also like us to go into this game playing the way we want to play, not overly worrying about the way Stupid Teeth wants to play, but obviously within reason, not just going gung ho and getting sucker punched. But if we show them too much respect or make it obvious we fear them we'll play into their hands and get beaten.scotgooner wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 2:43 pmmcdowell42 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 2:41 pmHe switched Tomiyasu to LB Thurs night when he brought on Ben White ,wonder was he already thinking of it for this gamescotgooner wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 2:38 pmUnless KT is carrying a knock that is an outrageously shite decision.

Tomi being picked as LB seems to be a ploy to counter Salah cutting in on his left with a right footed player. While I don't think it is too much of a risk to play Tomi there as he is comfortable playing as a LB, I still would have started KT.

Zinchenko crocked AGAIN?
He’s now one injury away from going on “the list”.

Bit harsh mate, he's only been here a matter of months but it is worrying for sure, I am actually a big fan of his and was when he was at city.rodders999 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 3:15 pmZinchenko crocked AGAIN?

I am also a fan of Tierney but he has been with us a few seasons and just misses more games than he plays.
Give zinchenko at least a season then we can make an informed opinion.

I rarely watch this game and won't today, it stresses me so much!
Phone on Airplane mode, my sis coming round for Sunday roast!
On the beer, will wait as long as possible to check score!
