Stop blaming the pitches.

England only put the aussies in on a flatish wicket so that you might get use of your ticket, Show some gratitude :D :barscarf:

I hate you Buttler.

Nevill's not a fan as Buttler takes a good catch down the leg side.

:barscarf: Nearly lunch. :barscarf:

Johnson's gone second ball.

Ball straightens nicely and don't think any edge - bowled.

Lunch. Aus 376-7

Nut Flush:

You need to stop buying tickets, mate.

Either that or buy tickets for a day you don't want. :barscarf:

Finn's ridiculous no-ball to 'dismiss' Smith on 92 is the highlight of the day for me.

Good Lord, he needs to sort his run-up out; like, yesterday.

Finn has bowled Smith for 143. Starc has a 50, siddle nothing and Australia are 467 - 8.

475 - 9; Stokes dismisses Starc for 58.

Umpire said not out but stokes immediately reviewed, which showed it would have hit middle and leg. Lyon is the last man in.

Australia are all out for 481. Siddle is the last man out, well caught by Lyth off the bowling of Finn.

Wicket.

Siddle clean-bowls Bell for a poor 10.

England are three down and seem to have lost interest.

Even before this last test started I was far from convinced.

Take out the seaming, swinging pitches and our bowling attack still reads: Right-arm medium-fast x4 and 2 part time spinners. Hardly great variety and nothing that says we're likely to achieve anything outside of England.

The ineptitude of the Australian batting at Edgbaston and TB masked our own quite nicely. The best you can say about our batting in those tests was that it was less shit than Oz.

Root gone now.

The only 2 tests not played on swinging pitches we've been comprehensively dismantled.

84 - 5.

Just like Lords, Aus put on a very good score and then make England look like they're batting on a minefield.

We'll lose this by an innings. Why oh why did we not bat first?
