BT Sport and Streaming Matches

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

For me adblocker is essential when streaming footy, it stops all those nasty ads/popups.

Which Ad Blocker do you use NFG ?

This is the one I use. Takes 30 seconds to download and does what it says on the tin.

What's the story with these Reb? Do you have to download apps like Mobdro and then find the best stream on the app or can you channel hop like you would with your sky box? Also, you should download "Show Box", was only told about it today but at first glance it seems OK.

modro plus lots more already on it, now i have all the sports, movies etc etc .. picture not hd but good enough, plus i couldnt find a guide so had to go on every sports channel just to see what was on offer IE premier league games , thur night i had every europa league game but soon got bored of that and put back on the porn

Oh dear Lord no!

"Thanks Swanny and KP for that expert discussion. Now let's go over to Dominic Cork and Darren Gough to take you through the first half hour" :banghead:
Having a duopoly over the "crown jewels" in English sport is not good for the consumer IMO. BT have made more inroads into Sky's dominance of this market than any other company. Expect the overall cost to go up.
unless it encourages more and more people to give up their subscriptions as they get less and less value for money.
in that case the satellite companies will have less money for their bidding wars.

I have always resisted SKY until this summer - now I have discovered NOW TV and I just pick and choose weeks where there looks a really good weekend of sport on.

Don't see how that works out any cheaper tbh. Day pass at £6.99 vs a contract where you will be given a heavy discount plus more channels than sky sports. No brainer imo.

the £6.99 day pass is a rip off - I agree with that
however £10.99 for the week is not bad or £31.99 for the month. you get access to all of the SKY sports channels.
so i have picked a couple of decent weeks in the past month and then will leave it (international break coming up etc) and then pick a couple of weeks next month again.

if you want SKY sports every week of the year then obviously then get a contract

I'll be using the monthly option for England's away Test matches over the winter. Never used it before so it might make sense to test it for a week beforehand in case the quality is shit or buffers constantly

If you've got proper high speed broadband........well, at least 5mb/s you could go to alibaba or aliexpress and get yourself a bein sport iptv package for about $200 a yr. best part is you can use it anywhere if you got good broadband.

My dear old mum has BT broadband and gets all the sport channels for just £5 a month. I borrow her log in details and with the use of my chromecast I get to watch all the games for free!!! I also got 50% off all Sky channels after threatening to leave :D

There's no need to threaten your mother like that!
