wayno i agree with many that we dont need another mod, wether you agree with quartz on not, fair enough,everyone is entitled to their opinion. But he was asked to be a mod, he didnt ask. And he's been ripped into which i think is out of order.(just my opinion).

As ive said before the only change needed is the basement just being for hardcore porn, and for you to be the mod down there

Not cool wayno, you just compared a jewish guy to hitler, that's crossing a line. and it's in a place where he'll almost certainly read it, and i imagine he'll be pretty upset about it (not just "offended" in the PC brigade sence, genuinely upset) and if it's intentional then it's just a fucking mean, shitty thing to say.

i'm guessing that it wasn't meant like that and you just posted without thinking, but that's how it comes accross.

Surely it would be best for the current moderators to decide who would be a suitable mod and approaching the chosen poster in private?? Rather than asking on the forum, which, as has been proved, led to petty squabbles and abuse?

sadly a sign of the way things are becomming on this forum, the first time we did this the resulting thread was a great laugh and the moderator that was "elected" (TS) was actually asked to do the job by kev.

well the simple fact is the forum does need a new mod or two as it is only spudmasher and i here now as such since none of the other mods are really on here anymore for there own reasons i would presume and since im not on here as much as i used too then thats not fair on spudmasher.

i thought quartz would have made a good mod but can see gus's side of the arguement as well and he did made a lot of good points that i hadnt thought about, will miss the 2 of them as they were good posters and gus is a friend of mine, and i would hope they both come back as they will be missed.
