My girlfriend made a good comment to me yesterday, I said to her 'women shouldn't be allowed to go to football' and she said 'dont be so stupid, they should be allowed to go but under 2 rules 1.) they don't talk tactics because its cringe or 2.) they don't chant and if they do they should be told to leave'

In fairness though, so often I hear commentators and ex-footballers who don't know the offside rule and male linesman and referees who know the rules but just plain get things wrong that I do think to target a woman is unfair..... Besides, if the banter had stopped at a tongue in cheek woman not knowing the offside rule then maybe ok, but they did go on a bit from there. Methinks heads(s) may role!

There's a hearing scheduled for early this week at which Gray's lawyers will be trying to compel Mulcaire to identify those journalists he was transcribing voicemail messages for.
