Cesc - I had to leave
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sp ... senal.html
"In London we lost and I'd still go out and eat."
That does appear to be the way with the lack of commitment shown by our players, although I'm disappointed to hear it from Cesc.
Maybe taken out of context?

Agreed.QuartzGooner wrote:Nothing bad in what he says.
Was always going to go back to Barcelona one day and we got eight good years from him, a quality player, who scored a penalty with a broken leg, and threw pizza at Ferguson.
And if he slags off some of the players and management, well he's only saying what we all know anyway.

Cesc was a great player but he is gone now. Why? Because he did what he wanted to do. He put himself before the good of the club. I hold no ill will towards him for that. If I was in his shoes I would do the same to return to my boyhood team too.
But let's not get up our own arses about how he was "forced" to leave against his will or some such bollocks. The choice was his. He took it. Fair enough.
As I say a great player, but NOT a legendary Arsenal player to me.
