Henrix Mkhitaryan will stay at Roma also on next season on a permanent deal. Agreement reached with Arsenal - never started any talks for a swap deal with Justin Kluivert. #Arsenal #AFC #Roma #transfers
Looks like he's gone, rest of season on loan, that's 10m of the wage bill

Seems to be a bit of a shit show after developing between Arsenal, St. Etienne and Saliba
We're not allowing him to play in the French cup final because of the way they were rehabbing him and also because they won't give us enough wonga.

I read it is Arsenal that has to pay an extra 2.5 million if he makes 17 or more appearances which is odd but Arsenal insisted that the clause was put into guarantee he plays regularly. He is currently on 16 games.rodders999 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 8:21 amSeems to be a bit of a shit show after developing between Arsenal, St. Etienne and Saliba

OFFICIAL: Arsenal have put out a statement on William Saliba. ASSE did not agree to training plan proposed by Arsenal which had to be done in close collaboration with us as well as waiver of financial obligation.

I'm not following that - if our club released the statement, why does it say that the plan was proposed by Arsenal (as opposed to saying us), and especially when it uses the phrase "us" down further It reads like a statement released by st ettiene to me

#AFC statement on William Saliba says St Etienne would not agree to collaborate on a training plan to ensure he is fit for the start of next season.
Club says: "We also expected not to be financially disadvantaged by extending the loan. This was not acceptable to St Etienne"

Does that mean that the club were expecting a loan fee from st etienne ? Not sure how else we could be financially disadvantaged

They were expecting money from Arsenal apparently.

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
From what I understand St Etienne were due an extra 2.5m if he played 17 games for them this season, the 17th game in this case is the French Cup final, if he played we would have to fork out 2.5m to them. On a side note not quite sure who's brain wave that was to have that kind of clauseaugie wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 12:13 pmmcdowell42 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 11:39 am#AFC statement on William Saliba says St Etienne would not agree to collaborate on a training plan to ensure he is fit for the start of next season.
