Emery was just very short when faced with the Ozil situation in the pre match interview

Such a fucking farce to make him the league's second highest player for four years. £350,000 a week :banghead:

Saka and Nketiah are our two attacking players on the bench for the first game of the new year. The wonderful era of Stan Kroenke continues

In an ideal world you phase young players into the first 11 when the team is on a good run and there isnt much presure on them - in a less than ideal world, you drop iwobi, tell him to get his lard arse out of the club, and playing a young lad off the street cos they couldnt be any worse

Got to be a decent chance that Saka will get on at some stage for Iwobi........would like to see him have a chance, pacy, direct, can take people on - not by any means saying he is the finished article but hopeful of his potential.
Shame Smith-Rowe still out too.

That was a fucking horrible tackle on Lacazette who just got up and carried on. No booking though. Funny how he could get up but that dirty tramp Salah can't stay on his feet for more than about 20 seconds.

Maybe we should have a whip-round for him? Seeing as he's so hard up etc .. :?

I would love to be able to go more than a few days without thinking what a dozy *word censored* Granit Xhaka is. I mean fucking hell its frightening.

This is pretty shocking. We just have nothing in the middle of the pitch to get us going. I remember how Fabregas used to drive us forward even when we were shit, we just have nobody capable of grabbing hold of the game.

Salah means 'Vertigo' in Urdu. (Honest!).

That should be 2-0 to them. Just as I write that we've scored. Hurrah! :barscarf:

That’s why they are the only team worse than us at the back. Well done to Xhaka for making the run, Iwobi for putting in a good ball and Lacazette for smartly blocking off his man but fucking hell where were they??

This nobody who is refereeing has no intention of penalising constant or cynical fouling. Sokratis showing why he is our only player with a defensive brain by spotting that and smashing his man twice from behind when he was dragged out of position rather than letting him lay it off or turn.
