Just read that the England lezzers - oops sorry women's "football" team - will get paid £24k each for the group stage and over £200k each if they win it.

Even just forgetting the thought of that kind of money being given to players at a boys under 14 standard, here's the even more ludicrous part of it.... because of this switch from paying the FA and letting them distribute the money to the players, the FA will actually lose money on this women's world cup.

Sorry I should have emphasised that more clearly. As mental as it sounds the likes of the Arsenal women's team for example want to be paid the same as the men's team and the womens international teams want to be paid the same as the equivalent men's teams - even though the women's teams bring in zero income and are subsidised by the men's teams.
