G'day Freddie. Manager of The Arsenal
G'day, and welcome back to the big time, Freddie Ljungberg.
You have been a very successful and loyal player for The Arsenal FC.
I'm banking on you to sort out the shitfest at ours and your club, with immediate effect,
Can you bring back the class and pride associated with The Arsenal?
Will you build a team around our only world class player?
Bring back belief and unity in the dressing room?
Get the players in their last 18 months contract to sign on again?
Bring in, and trust in the youngsters sooner, rather than later?
Who will you ask to train and sort out our defense?
Will you expect Kranky to go to toe financially with the other behemoths?

so he did a full seaseon in Germany too.Invincible Freddie Ljungberg is to rejoin the club in July as head coach of our under-23 team.
The Swede, who coached our under-15s and was assistant to the under-19 Uefa Youth League team during the 2016/17 season, left us to join Wolfsburg in 2017 and gained invaluable experience as assistant coach in the Bundesliga.

From April 2015 when he was coaching the welsh national squad in training
:
The english football press = laziest in the world.
I love the top quote.
:
So he was A qualified in 2016.
"That's what I would almost demand at Arsenal. If you want to play at Arsenal you need to be top, top, you need precision.
Ljungberg, who also played for clubs including West Ham United and Celtic, is now concentrating on getting his coaching badges as he eyes a role in management.
The 37-year-old has opted to take his badges with the Football Association of Wales, a path recommended by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and trodden by other Gunner greats including Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Jens Lehman and Sol Campbell.
"I'm here with Osian [Roberts, the Wales assistant coach] and we're finalising my 'B' licence and I'm preparing for the 'A' licence," Ljungberg added.

I had to do a double take when I read the title of this thread I thought it said:
Gay Freddie. Manager of The Arsenal

Good luck Freddie.
The task is really straightforward to keep our fanbase happy.
Turn around a weak willed, losing culture that has been there since you finished as a player, instantly producing a team to put Liverpool and Man City to the sword, playing the type of football that would make Pep's Barcelona blush. Oh, while you're there make Mustafi, Sokratis, Bellerin and Co, instantly look like George Graham's infamous backline. If you're lucky Uncle Stan might give you tuppence ha'penny to spend in January to help achieve it too.
If you don't win the first three games the AFTV spackers will have the banners up

Ljungberg will be allowed to form his own coaching staff, which is expected to be outlined on Saturday and could see the surprise inclusion of another former playing colleague, Gilberto Silva, who lives in London. [@guardian]

That would be a very good choice. Enjoy his punditry and would be able to teach Luiz, and Torreira how to play and be effective in the DM role.
Any chance of re-hash of "we love you Freddie" song?

Hope the Crab Gilberto is back, we were never the same after he left, every team, even Brazil, needs a crab holding the midfield together & sweeping up opposition moves as they start to threaten.
Gilberto never got the credit he deserved in the Invincibles, even though he also won the World Cup.

Very true, he was well shafted with the captaincy, even though he done a good job at it, I wish Freddie all the best and hope he can bring some stability to the club.Almunia is a clown wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 5:47 amHope the Crab Gilberto is back, we were never the same after he left, every team, even Brazil, needs a crab holding the midfield together & sweeping up opposition moves as they start to threaten.

He was underappreciated until he was out with that back injury. Everyone could see how important he was when he was missing.Blim wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 6:55 amVery true, he was well shafted with the captaincy, even though he done a good job at it, I wish Freddie all the best and hope he can bring some stability to the club.Almunia is a clown wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 5:47 amHope the Crab Gilberto is back, we were never the same after he left, every team, even Brazil, needs a crab holding the midfield together & sweeping up opposition moves as they start to threaten.
