All the best, old Chap. We'll be thinking of you and sending you our love. I'm sure we can organise a get Well Soon BBQ or bubble bath to raise morale. Love you lots.

Cheers boys. Some laugh out loud stuff there and cheered me up no end.
Don't worry about the forum being modded. A week away from work, lying here in hospital.... if anything I'll be on here more often, you poor bastards....
Sid, you will be made a mod over my dead body... ooh, hang on... too far...?

Just after reading this news (assumed it was covid so didnt read it yesterday ) - really very sorry to hear this news, and hopefully it will be just a false alarm and nothing serious. It's certainly a lot of information for you and the wife to take on board with a lot of potential outcomes, and even though it wont be easy, try to remain positive and focus on the best one.
Like someone else said, I'm not a big prayer man but I will certainly be sending my best wishes your way
As shit a mod as you are sometimes ( ), I shudder to think of the anarchy that lies in store with no mod if you are offline for a few weeks

Wishing you all the best DB.
Cashly has experience sticking objects up his arse so maybe you should give him a shout to ask him what to expect.

Sorry to hear this DB, I hope it is the best of outcomes but you're a gnarly old git so if it is anything worse I know who my money's on, take care of yourself and dont be the 'big' man lean on your friends and family as much as possible that's what they're there for and they wont appreciate you trying anything else, take it from one who knows

Thanks lads for the humour, the good wishes, and the sound advice.
Weirdly at the moment anyway the worst part is the boredom and inconvenience of it. Anybody who has been in hospital for long periods of time for treatment, you genuinely have my sympathies and undying respect. I'm going a bit stir crazy - and I've only been in 3 days out of a prospective 5 or 7 days!

All the best buddy! Hopefully the 3 points and a proper old school Arsenal win today helped lift your spirits!

Thanks man. Yeah it's lifted me brilliantly! And against Racist Steptoe and Schmeichel-Lite too - which is a massive bonus!Natural Born Gooner wrote: ↑Sat Oct 30, 2021 1:55 pmAll the best buddy! Hopefully the 3 points and a proper old school Arsenal win today helped lift your spirits!
