Nice. That’ll have made a few other teams take notice. Odegaard playing like Bergkamp. If only Nketiah could sharpen up his finishing a bit. Otherwise maybe need an upgrade in January.

We won but fuck me what a struggle!
Wanted to put my boot through my PC with some of Martinellis corners but he redeemed himself, as did Gabriel
Odegaard MOTM by a distance
I like Nketiah. Think he'll offer is something different with his directness.
Saka - not sure where he's at at the moment! Maybe ESR in his place next game, as it should be the same conditions for Saka and his form as it is for Smith-Rowe

Odergaard as DB is a very good comparison. Reminds me of when we started 1997-98 like a train and suddenly looked dangerous and confident and Bergkamp was the best player in the world. Nketiah looked sharp when he came on and I do think he could be the difference for us when we have those winter Sunday games after travelling away in Europe. If we can get one more decent signing in by the end of the month, I'll be happy but as it is, right now, I'm enjoying the winning mentality and style of play. Top of the league, lovely.cameron326 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 6:31 pmNice. That’ll have made a few other teams take notice. Odegaard playing like Bergkamp. Also it's amazing how long they seem to focus on VAR decisions for us compared to other teams. Was waiting for them to find something wrong with that goal!

Rolled up our sleeves after the fuck up and drove at the bastards. Superb 3 points and completely deserved.
4 games in to the season and it’s time to pull Saka out of the firing line for a few games. He’s showing all the signs of a young kid who’s played way too much football in the last 18 months.
We’re too reluctant to use or bench there’s no way he should have still been out there at 90 minutes.

Their manager just interviewed on 5Live saying the 2 Arsenal goals were "Lucky".

That was actually the only time we won from a losing position in the entire seasonStuartL wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 6:52 pmWasn’t that just what we did last year against Wolves thoughOneBardGooner wrote: ↑Sat Aug 27, 2022 6:30 pmYeah! There is No Way We Would Have Come Back For The Win Last Season!.
