Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Zinchenko at around 25 odd million would be a good signing if signed as someone who would be a squad player capable of filling in in 2 positions and would do a decent enough job. I hope he is being signed as a back up to KT who could fill in midfield as well when required, not the other way round. H...

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
I wouldn't mind Zinchenko, he is a decent and reliable player, changed the game when he came on against Villa and have been impressive playing for Ukraine. I certainly would take him over the other Ukrainian bloke we were being linked with. I wonder why he would want to join us though. I don't think...

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
There is nothing in the Kante rumours. It's a made up story as everyone knows about the uncertainty with the one who must not be named.
Few stories linking us to Lucas Paqueta. Seems like we may be favouring him over Tielemans as I don't see us signing both.

Re: Jack Wilshere retires
Looks like he will be appointed as the head coach of the U18s. Good luck to the lad.

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Damned if one does, damned if one doesn't. The club gets criticised for submitting bids below the asking price, yet when we do submit an acceptable bid it is deemed as overpaying. We paid 45 million for a 25 yr old PL proven striker , Sterling who is 2 years older is going to Chelsea for around the...

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
In isolation Jesus is a very good signing. Getting a PL proven player, with 4 titles under his belt and with his peak years still ahead of him is good business. His goal scoring record though not outstanding is decent and his ability to relentlessly press and his work rate would suit our playing sty...

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Martinez is a left footed CB who can play left back, so cover for 2 positions. He is like 5 feet 7 so rather diminutive for a CB, but good with the ball at his feet. He was voted Ajax player of the year last season. I imagine he is being looked more as a LB than a CB and is the preferred choice over...

Re: other matches this weekend
As much as I'd love the victims drop points and end the media wankathon about them winning the quadruple, I cannot accept any other result than them stuffing the scum this weekend. I have a bad feeling the scum will get something from this game .

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Jesus if at all we sign him will be signed as the second striker who could play either side of a traditional number 9 like Nunez/Osimhein/DCL and can do a job as a central striker as and when the number 9 is unavailable. The profile for the second striker should not be that of a target man but of so...

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Jesus would be a decent signing as a second striker who could play across the front 3. His goal scoring record throughout his City career is better than some of the other options being suggested like Rashford, DCL and Origi. He should be available fairly cheap given he would be in the last year of h...

Conte losing his sh*t again when questioned on Arteta's fixture complaints though it had f*ck all to do with him. The guys a lunatic, a wind up merchant of the highest order.
