That's me CIG. Bloody small world isn't it? Mind you Arsenal always brings the best people together.

Want to be a Gooner Blogger?

There are obviously loads of Arsenal blogs on the internet, but we're sure there's room for another couple so are looking to add one (or more) to The Gooner website. Think you could be our resident blogger? If so and you think you'd have time to contribute three or four blog entries a week, then bet...

To be fair to the club on this one, they wanted to introduce the anthem by stealth rather than appear to be ramming it down people's throats. And I think it may be working. At the last couple of games, there has been a round of applause at the end of it so people are definitely conscious that it's b...

Prize Money!

Fantastic to see so many postees having joined the league. There was a league for Gooner contributors last season, which your online editor won by the skin of his teeth in the last week. However, I'm going to suggest to everyone who competed last season that they sign up to this one instead - I have...

And of course Huntelaar has already made his mark on Arsenal's history by scoring the first goal at the new stadium in DB's testimonial match. It was disappointing at the time as we all hoped that a true Arsenal legend would score the first, but perhaps we were just being short-sighted and a true Ar...

The next one is scheduled to be out towards the end of July and then approximately monthly throughout the season. I'm afraid we can't produce one every week like Arseblogger!

All feedback on the first one welcomed and we'd be interested to hear if you have any suggestions for future editions.

Unfortunately, the new issue of The Gooner (which is on sale on Sunday) went to press before this came to our attention, so we'll have to pass the word round by email.

Well Played and Load of Ballacks!

For those of you not familiar with the printed version of The Gooner, Well Played and Load of Ballacks is a regular feature where readers can nominate people who have done something to make Gooners cheer (Well Played) or conversely have done something to annoy us (Load of Ballacks). There are some e...

More news just in. Ken Friar has given (yes, given - free of charge) 152 of his 199 shares to Peter Hill-Wood. Has anyone any thoughts as to why? This was the press release from Arsenal Holdings: On 27th March 2007, Arsenal Holdings plc (the "Company") received notification that Kenneth Fr...

Agree wit that last post. I'd got to Cardiff again because this was the first really bad experience I'd had of getting there and in general it's been a great place for us. Don't think I'd consider going by train again though!

On the subject of support, there's one thing I want to get off my chest as I had a couple of comments in the office this morning about how we didn't stay behind at the final whistle. I had really wanted to, to show the youngsters how much we appreciated the efforts they had given this season to reac...

I spoke to their customer service today having booked tickets online earlier in the week. Have to agree that they are next to useless. Told them that I hadn't been able to book a seat and when I queried it at the time of booking, I was told to ring back today when they would have finalised their boa...

At the risk of getting totally flamed, can I remind everyone on the eve of our semi-final second leg against Spurs of our experience when we played Wigan at the same stage last year. One-nil down from the first leg, we rolled out the big guns for the second leg. Henry scored halfway through the seco...

I love some of the ideas which have been suggested, but I'm not sure if I would want a Gooner calendar on display on my desk showing 12 heart-breaking cup final defeats. Talk about providing the opposition with ammunition! And do I really want to stare at Spurs players (however upset they may be) fo...
