Re: European Super League announced

This needs to be the beginning of something not the end. Club owners, TV companies, UEFA, FIFA the whole fucking kit and caboodle need to be the next focus. I'm massively in favour of the 50.1% fan ownership model, problem is these clubs are now worth so much is that even possible even if legislati...

Re: European Super League announced

Auba's put his big boy pants on, apologised (in a way) and is back on twitter. Normally I would commend people who apologise, but for me auba and the clubs can shove their apologies where the sun dont shine - the way the fans have been treated this week is shameful, and instead of speaking out for ...

Re: European Super League announced

City gone too :barscarf:

One concern I have is that chelski's statement said that they will pull out "as soon as possible" - if those clubs have signed a 23 year contract (as rumoured), then does this as soon as possible give them wiggle room to stay in it for a few years ?

Re: European Super League announced

Yeah I know Amazon have existing deals with some leagues (PL included) but there was zero onus on them to make any sort of statement about it but yet they’ve felt the need to release one. If a company as big as that are running for cover on day 2 to avoid being contaminated with the shit that’s spr...

Re: European Super League announced

Am I the only one that is already fed up listening to everything on this shit ? I still oppose it 1000%, but it seems that it is all anyone can talk about now (in the real world not here  )

Re: European Super League announced

Pep has just shit all over it which should be the first nail in its coffin. There is only two managers (pep and klopp) that I would expect to show some backbone and oppose this bastardised competition, and thankfully both have done so because they would have the standing and respect in the game for...

Re: European Super League announced

If we were to be relegated the Wig would be hunted down. I would think that the rest of the premier league clubs would not want to expel the six clubs as it would put their own financial position in jeopardy due to TV money but they would like to make an example of a team. My worry is that they wil...

Re: Fulham Fartpipes H Sun 18th Apr KO 130pm

And I agree with all those points you are making Steve O, but the media are totally ignoring citeeh's shocking record in europe which is amplified by the massive amounts of money they spent. Also, if we want to be picky, what is manure's recent record like in europe ? In the last decade it has been ...

Re: European Super League announced

If this is an alternative to UEFA competitions, not domestic leagues then I'll support the move. As an organisation, UEFA has been proven as being bad for football. A rival organisation would be good for football. Premier League at the weekend, European Super League midweek then fine. If it means o...

Re: Fulham Fartpipes H Sun 18th Apr KO 130pm

Personally I am raging that the european super league b.ullshit has taken the focus away from another disgraceful performance under pep's cone boy - the performance and result should have been dissected left, right and centre by the media and fans, yet it isnt even mentioned 20 pages of it here. Ro...
