If that's the case, how did he come on as a sub for RVP in the 76th minute?

Also, why would Arshavin need Abramovich's blessing?

Was quite surprised to learn that we haven't lost a home FA Cup match since 1997 (when, ironically, Leeds beat us 1-0 at Highbury).

We've survived 31 games in that 15-year period, but I definitely think that tomorrow's game is a potential banana-skin. Watch this space, I guess.

imagine going back to your old work, and seeing someone younger not doing your job properly ...and for about four or fives as much, even for people like Keown and LeeLee Dixon it must pull the heartstrings not to mention grate a bit.

I've just been reading through the Everton programme from December 10th - the same day as the 125th anniversary 'celebrations' - and it mentions that Marc Overmars was scheduled to appear as one of the legends prior to the game. Obviously this didn't materialise, but does anyone know why?

I'm not ...

Silver membership is the best investment of the lot. Sent my one-off payment to Ivan, buy fuck all tickets hence denying the club cash two months in advance, then wait for all the disillusioned season ticket holders to offer you up the chance to go to the games anyway :barscarf:

In a way I agree ...

I actually did get a ticket for the Blackburn game. Call me nostalgic, but the lure of seeing TH14 in the red and white one last time supercedes all the other bullshit that comes with it.

Give it a couple of years and they'll throw in the Emirates Cup with the ST, I'd imagine.

Possibly a tad harsh to criticise the players in this instance, as most would surely be happy to sign. Seems more of an upper management decision to me.

Funny how it's all "January counts for nothing" from the AKBs now. Funny because when we were looking half decent last January it was all "WE ARE IN FOUR COMPETITIONS" and "Arsene has proven his critics wrong"....

That part is spot on and there is more than a whiff of hypocrisy ...

"In January means very little"

Very fitting that you chose to name yourself Kiwomya. You display as much accuracy and precision in your posts as the great ex forward did in front of goal.

Sorry pal, are we approaching the last game of the season then? Not sure what's not accurate in what I said ...

What's most criminal is the fact that there's simply no urgency at the club to rectify matters. We're clearly struggling and are already lagging far behind the top three, and yet AW is cruising along as if everything is fine and dandy.

Without the 'speculate to accumulate' mindset, we will indeed ...

The wording on the ticketing website is different from usual - it says "on sale to Arsenal supporters and members with a previous booking history", which implies that it won't go to general sale as Leeds fans would likely book them up en masse.

But the Sky / BBC / ITV coverage isn't shown inside the ground, so the fans wouldn't necessarily know to sing 'One Arsene Wenger' as a reaction.

I think they would though. As soon as they see that banner that will be their immediate reaction, I am quite sure of it.

I agree. The pro-Wenger ...

I've said it before - the banner cannot go up at home games. Once unfurled the thousands of AKBs/c**ts at the Grove will for the first time in their lives find their voices and start singing "One Arsene Wenger", making Sky/BBC/ITV/The Media think most of us support Wenger and relieving pressure on ...

No matter how low we finish, and irrelevant of how long it continues for, the pro-Wenger supporters will always hark back to the trophies in the early 2000s and use that as justification for him continuing on.
