Like Arsenal before they turned up at Birmingham in 2008…Retro Gunner wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2024 4:38 pmIn my opinion, it's hard to say whether Liverpool will blow up or not. They aren't a great side and have been just getting by at times, but a winning mentality and a confidence sets in, as does a will not to lose.

Re: Other Matches Thread
How far were Arsenal behind Manchester United when they lost to Blackburn at home in December 1997? 10 points and won title with two games to spare.

If we weren't out of the race before(I think we were anyway) We most certainly are now  Everything falling into place for the dippers* No way we'll make up 9pts on them from here. Yep. We haven't got the squad or type of mentality to make up that difference. We're not Manure of the 90s or our ...

Spursy of the North - won nothing since 1955. They wear black and white and they won their last trophy in black and white. Should beat this lot, no trouble.

Apparently that's the tenth time Spursy have thrown away a 2 goal lead in Premier League. Next team is just seven.
Only the second time, Brighton have won from 2 goals down

I’m in the minority, I think Sterling improves the squad. I appreciate had a very poor season at Chelsea and for that reason plus people writing him off I think he will be bang up for it. He’s 29, not 39, I’m happy with the signing. It’s like signing Theo Walcott in his twenties. Utterly pointless. ...

"There are NINE deal sheets that have been submitted to the Premier League.
Included in them are reportedly: Reiss Nelson (Arsenal to Fulham), Raheem Sterling (Chelsea to Arsenal), Carlos Soler (PSG to West Ham) and Armando Broja (Chelsea to Everton)."

It’s midnight and the window has been closed for an hour. Surely Sterling can’t be going to Arsenal, can he?
PS I hope everyone at Arsenal has been turning the fax machine off whenever they go by it.

Seems to be a pattern here. Chelsea dump their outcasts on Arsenal. Arsenal dump their outcasts on Fulham. Where do Fulham outcasts go?mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 10:03 pmReiss Nelson to Fulham, agreement done after Ipswich Town deal off!
