zomersetgooner wrote:Have you seen the prices of the flights to Porto?

Hiring a car to get from Madrid to Porto maybe cheaper, especially if there is more than one of you going
30-50 €, train isn't cheaper i think

Now I'm considering a visit to Stoke for the FA Cup match! Not a humble investment for me (and fares for travel rising quickly).

So any opinions/ statements of you wether it is taking place ...

Cheapest I have got is £60 return.
Leave London Euston to Bolton Station at 08:45 for £23.50 , Bolton Station back to Euston at 19:54 for £12.00. You just need a transfer from Bolton Station to Horwich Parkway/ Reebok Stadium and back.

I think best for me is to start from London Euston and stop at Horwich Parkway next to the Reebok, it takes 3 h 29m. Pretty simple. £66.20 for the journey, but I'm still hesitating...

Hi Nick,

I dont have much experience on getting a bus from Stansted but what I do know is you will be pretty lucky to be able to get a bus only 30 minutes after your flight lands mate.

Well, that's not the biggest problem. But I think I'll travel by train on my own.

Then the question would be ...

Due to engineering work there is no train from Stansted to Tottenham Hale or Liverpool Street.
Instead ...
