Re: VAR

Good result v barcodes and some encouraging performances but the best thing was no interventions by VAR. Bit like watching football in the good old days!

Re: Modern Football Bol**cks

The Football Association is in talks to move the 2021 Community Shield from Wembley because of a clash with the Women's European Championship. In fairness they moved a World Cup finals match to White City in 1966 because it clashed with the weekly greyhound racing at Wembley so there's nothing new ...

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

I don't recall being over excited by the signing of Steve Bould and Lee Dixon . They didn't turn out to be too bad. Two sensible signings that the squad needs. Although why do we keep signing injured players? Soares is a Portuguese international, the fact he was at southampton doesn't mean a thing....

Barca bid 80 million for Richarilson  GAME’S GONE MATE BBC : Everton have rejected an offer of 100m euros (£85m) from Barcelona for Brazil forward Richarlison,. (Sky Sports) Everton remain adamant that Richarlison is not for sale and plan to build their team around the 22-year-old . (Liverpo...

Re: VAR

I can't remember a VAR decision that's gone our way apart from the goal at OT when they would have looked even bigger morons had they disallowed it. I blame Wenger. Didn't he call Dean an idiot or something?

Re: VAR

And now they've overturned a red card in the Wham game. Looked a bad foul to me but the player was called back and changed to yellow card. I imagine the ref asked for a revue but I had the sound off due to that female summariser with the voice that makes you think four inch nails are being hammered ...

Re: VAR

Francis Lee was a serial diver and I remember an Argentinian trying it on in the 66 World cup so it's in the DNA of football now I'm afraid.

Re: Who would you like to see as next manager POLL

After watching a couple of interviews with Arteta from 2014, 2015 I'm slowly coming round to idea of him being a manager that will breath some life into the club . In both interviews he's still a player but was very clear about his management style and the expectation as a manager he's have of his ...

Re: Adidas New Kit Sponsor (NSFW)

Disappointing. Adidas got this year's home kit spot on but what's the deal with the badges on the retro caravan curtain shirt? Actually looks ridiculous with that spacing.
