Re: Modern Football Bol**cks

The whole "North London premier league footballer arrested under suspicion of rape" saga seems to have returned. Further action expected. Should we be worried?

Re: PGMOL: Corrupt? Or Not?

It does seem to go beyond incompetence now, they seem to come up with new rules that only apply to Arsenal. I doubt we'll ever see a penalty given for accidental head clashes again or last season's debacle at Newcastle repeated with any other club. That said, funny as it was, the chicken on a ...

Re: R.I.P George Eastham

Hardly missed a home match in his 5 or 6 years at The Arsenal . Joe Baker was my first hero ( 12 year olds always went for the goal scorer but Eastham was the real class at a time when the mob up the road were winning things . George was the player that made us tick , if you took him out you ...

Re: Man Cheaty 115 charges / Everton / Other Corruption Super Thread (merged)

At a bit of a tangent I may have missed this information somewhere (it's happening a lot lately!) but do the blue mancs own their stadium? I know it was originally handed to them after the Commonwealth games in the same way Wham were donated a stadium for next to nothing but do shity still rent it ...

Re: Getting tickets

In the last couple of days I've been reading elsewhere that the club has cancelled thousands of red memberships on the grounds they have been using bots or other witchcraft to get tickets. My initial reaction was it's about time they did something but now it seems they have cancelled genuine members ...

Re: VAR

If anyone is in doubt about VAR ruining the game, yesterdays rulings at Wembley should convince you. Disallowing that goal for an imagined offence took several minutes and was completely baffling. Is there ever going to be a referee who, when called to the screen, is going to have the cojones to say ...

Re: Getting tickets

Finally, for the first time since opening day v NF, I've been successful in the ballot for the Brentford game. Almost restores my faith in the system.

Re: Getting tickets

I've still only been successful once from seven attempts in the ballot and on three of those occasions they haven't even emailed to let me know one way or the other. Losing all confidence in this system which I was optimistic about to begin with.

Are you silver or red?

I just had another ...

Re: Getting tickets

Oh well , I have two going on exchange tomorrow for the city game because Covid has hit our household . Such is life. No doubt ticketmaster will rape us for their 10 % commission on the exchange .

I'd take them off your hands if possible mate. Sent you a PM 👍🏻

I'd have had them but we were ...

Re: Getting tickets

Well the way I've read it Rob is that the ticket will be sent to your phone as the only way to access the stadium. Also they have immediately sent confirmation as usual but the "E" ticket will only be sent one week before the fixture so touts will need dozens of phones and have little time to sell ...

Re: Getting tickets

Having started this thread complaining about the impossibility of getting tickets I can report that I have been successful in the ballot for the Forest game, The email tells me I can log on after 10am tomorrow to complete the purchase although there is still the reminder that they are on a first ...
