Fortunately I'm just over two and a bit hours drive from SJP so it's by far my easiest trip of the season.

I usually park at the Darwen College and walk 10 minutes up the road to the ground, The Fernhurst has already been mentioned but back down towards the M65 there's also The Golden Cup, Never been in either to be fair.

I find that parking in the college helps get a quick get away after the match ...
