I remember when we signed Henry.
I thought, "Not that gangly fucker who got ten minutes on the wing for France!"
In those days AW knew better than me.

Lies, damn lies and statistics. We have plenty of possession, so usually end up having a shot. However, we've normally given the opposition plenty of time to get in position so we're not creating good chances. Seeing wave after wave of pacy attack against Villa (in the second half) showed that we ca...

I completely agree with the sentiment of this thread but not it's analysis. At least half a dozen of those teams have got back-up strikers just a shit as ours. Mind you, it could be worse. We could have spent 50mil on Torres or 35mil on Carroll! AW will be totally culpable if (when) RvP gets crocked...

We shouldn't have a go at Swanners. Living in Swansea is punishment enough. Which reminds me... An Englishman, a Welshman and a Pakistani arrive at the maternity ward to pick up their newborn sons, only to be told that all the hospital systems had crashed and that they would have to work out for the...

I can't see that any credible defence has yet been put forward. If Arry could get his accountant to take the fall he might get off, but the bloke would be have his career ruined. My head tells me he's got to be found guilty but I keep remembering Stevie G getting off after his gang beat the shit out...

Flamini wasn't a good enough player for his departure to be a disaster (a bit like Nasri he'd had his first good season and wanted a massive payrise) but he had started to play an important role in the team and, for me, his departure was the tipping point because AW didn't replace him and his absenc...

Would you change your mind?
Some of yesterday's Villa match posts got me thinking that some people (many of us?) form a view of a player and then refuse to change their opinion, even if that player performs well over a series of games. We know that people see what they expect to see, but I think many people are too set in thei...
