Re: Sunderland Calling

Cheers for yesterday lads.

As has been said on here, we didn't deserve the win and were delighted to get away with it.

It was definitely the game that we've enjoyed the most however and looking forward to next season already.

Re: Sunderland Calling

I see Sunderland have signed Saha, just in time to get his obligatorty goal against us on Saturday.

OOOPS WRONG THREAD

He was desperate for a warm-up like but there's no room in our squad.

Thought I'd check in with a friendly 'good luck' before we tear you apart on Saturday again. So ...

Re: Sunderland Calling

Right gents - as promised I have booked the pitch at market road for 10am on the 18th. :barscarf:

There is free parking available on the surrounding roads and there are no restrictions on the day. There are also changing rooms and showers.

Now time to get fit and trying rediscover the first ...

Re: Sunderland Calling

They're usually hanging out of their arses and sprinting down the road slurping cans of lager but by and large they usually turn up on time.

One hour is plenty, we're usually quite competitive for the first half, then fall apart in the second. 30 mins each way should be plenty. 8)

I agree ...

We'll have to wait until we're able to book the pitch but I imagine it will be (as in previous years) around 10am. We tend to play for about an hour.

Re: Sunderland Calling

Bump. Can we get this stickied?

Lots of interest from our lads. We'll be bringing a strong squad down (although sounding like it should be from green street, it isn't).

Re: Sunderland Calling

Should be able to make a return to the team this season.

We don't need a manager just 11 bodies and someone who knows and can book a local pitch.

Fuck Leyton Orient again. Got any numbers Chunky?

I havent matey. Good to see you on here again too. When I went to book market road which would ...

Re: Sunderland Calling

Ha'way lads, you must be able to scrape 11 together. If not, we could reluctantly scale down to 7 a side?

Happy to go along with your plans and will keep following this thread.

Sunderland Calling

Alright lads,

It's that time of year again when I stick my head above the parapet...

Are we on for another fans match this year? Ideal start to the season. Loads of our lads are interested and we should have a full team.

We promise to go easier on you this year...
